I do a trade for coaching with a friend of mine once a month. This month I started into my brief description of some health stuff I was working with and after about 30 seconds he stopped me. “That’s all fine,” he said. “Do what you have to do to take care of yourself. But on some level, all of that busyness is just a way of postponing your life.”
What?! Postponing my life?!
He went on. “Every time your health stuff comes up, stop and look at it. Observe it. Then go deeper. What are you trying to keep yourself from doing or being in that moment? What is this distraction keeping you from seeing about your life right now?”
I don’t know but I’m interested to find out! What’s behind the distractions in your life?
